Good Osborn

The Osborn Neighborhood Alliance has set up committees and many people have signed up to volunteer. We are still looking for more volunteers to help.  The committees are: (1) Education, (2) Human Services, (3) Community Communications, and (4) Finance. If you are interested, please contact any ONA board member or contact Quincy Jones at the Matrix Center to sign up.

ONA, along with Rowe St. Block Club, BFD, Von Steuben Community Council, Osborn U LSCO, and Greenbrier/Pulaski/Eastside Unity collaborated to celebrate the National Volunteer Week 2010 - "Celebrating People in ACTION!" April 17 - 24th. We thank all volunteers and just wanted to show our appreciation. The youth enjoyed themselves along with parents, residents, and stakeholders. Look forward to celebrating with us next year.

The Community Expo held at the Matrix Center in March, 2010 was fantastic! ONA launched the event with hosting their first BIG annual community meeting kick-off by celebrating with other mission partners and residents. There was lots of information, entertainment and refreshments. Look forward to the next BIG ONA community meeting coming this summer.
